Going the other way — you measured the thermistor and want the temperature:

Typical parts: 10k / B3950 (the hotend classic), 100k / B3950 (3D-printer beds), 10k / B3435. The beta model is good to ~±1 °C over 0–70 °C; use Steinhart–Hart coefficients for wider ranges.
