The grey dashed curve is the cell at no load; under load it sags by I·Ri and hits cutoff sooner, shrinking the usable capacity. The sweep walks the discharge once and then holds on the cutoff point — move any control, pick another chemistry or press Restart to run it again. Try Alkaline at 2 C: its high internal resistance collapses the voltage almost instantly, which is exactly why high-drain gear uses low-Ri chemistries like Li-ion.
