Brochage
Brochage Module pilote de moteur L298N

Broches
- OUT1 / OUT2 — motor A (left terminal); OUT3 / OUT4 — motor B (right terminal)
- +12V — motor supply VS, 5–35V (the name is the silkscreen's; it is not limited to 12V)
- GND — common ground for motor and logic
- +5V — with the 5V jumper ON this is an OUTPUT from the onboard 78M05 (up to ~0.5A for your MCU); with the jumper removed (VS above 12V) it becomes the logic INPUT you must feed 5V
- ENA / ENB — enable motor A / B: jumper cap on = always on, remove it and drive the pin with PWM for speed
- IN1 / IN2 — motor A direction (HIGH/LOW pairs); IN3 / IN4 — motor B
Caractéristiques
| Driver IC | L298N dual full bridge |
|---|---|
| Motor supply (VS) | 5–35 V |
| Logic supply | 5 V (from onboard 78M05 when the jumper is on) |
| Output current | 2 A per channel continuous (L298 rating) |
| Bridge voltage drop | ≈2 V or more, rising with current |
| Logic input HIGH | ≥ 2.3 V (3.3 V MCUs work) |
| Channels | 2 DC motors or 1 bipolar stepper |
| Puissance max | 25 W |
| Onboard regulator | 78M05, up to 0.5 A (jumper on, VS ≤ 12 V) |
| Flyback diodes | 8, on the board |
| Dimensions | ≈43 × 43 × 27 mm |
Notes
- The L298N drops about 2V across its bridge at load (the heatsink is there for a reason) — a 12V supply gives the motor roughly 10V. Budget for it, and do not expect more than ~2A per channel without extra cooling.
- Eight flyback diodes are on the board, so inductive loads (DC motors, a bipolar stepper on OUT1-OUT4) need nothing extra.
